Discover the lands and peoples of Middle-earth in this ESG day camp for young hobbits, dwarves, elves, humans, and other peoples from the world of The Hobbit and The Lord of the Rings.
Open to kids ages 7-13, participants will enter into the stories of Middle-earth with imaginative play, costumes, visual art, theatre games, and LARPing (Live Action Role Playing) together with friends in a warm, supportive environment.
Middle-earth Day Camp runs for four days August 4-7 2026 with the cost at sliding scale $200-$280 per child.
Delicious Hobbit-themed lunch and two snacks provided.
Middle-earth Day Camp FAQ
Dates: August 4th-7th 2026. This is a four-day camp following the August long weekend.
Cost: $200-280 per child. This is a no-questions-asked sliding scale with an additional discount for siblings. See the registration form for details.
Open to all children ages 7-13 with registration priority given to families living in East Vancouver. Campers don’t have to be part of the Sept-May Friday Guild program to participate.
Food: Lunch and two hearty snacks provided by our onsite cook. See the registration form for details about accommodating food restrictions.
This ESG day camp will explore the values of courage, friendship, loyalty, and hope in the stories of Middle-earth.
